December's Scrap n' Chat Workshop

It is time for another workshop!  This month we are going to be playing with the new Believe paper.  It is perfect for Christmas pictures! 

We are going to be making a 2 page layout, 1 card and 4 Christmas tags. 

The fee is only $5 or it is free with an order.  You only need to bring a pair of scissors and adhesive.  I will provide everything else!

The date of the workshop is Saturday Dec. 10^th at noon, we will also have a light lunch.

November's Scrap n' Chat Workshop

This week has been so busy and crazy, but all for a good reason.  We officially “Bought the farm” on Friday.  We purchased 35 acres with a little house, huge shop and a big barn on it in Craig CO.  We are so excited to finally have land where we can raise chickens, cows, pigmy goats (Hubby is so happy about that one:), horses and let the boys run and run and run!!  No neighbors to irritate and they can be as loud as they want!

Beginning August 1, you can order the brand new "Art Philosophy" Cricut cartridge which is exclusive to Close To My Heart. Many of the images coordinate perfectly with dozens of our terrific stamp sets. Well we are getting ready for our 4th move of the summer!  I really want to keep my workshops going so I am going to do another "on your own" workshop this month.
The cost is $5 for a 2 page layout and 2 cards.  The paper is all pre cut and all of the embellishments are included.  The workshop is free if you place an order during the month of July.  I need to know by the end of the month if you want to order a kit.  There will be a shipping fee if you need it mailed to you, but I will include a free NEW IDEA BOOK!!

ABC- Anything But a Card Heart 2 Heart Challenge

I have been so busy with moving and the end of the school year craziness that I have barely had time to scrap or create!  But I did make this little dry erase board for my sons reading teacher( shhhh, if you work at the school and know her:)
These are super easy and fun to make!  Just take a picture frame with glass in it, take out the fake family picture and decorate to your hearts desire!  Put it all back together and you have a cute, inexpesive and fun gift:)
This one was made with Close to my Heart Fanfare paper, and the Pennant alphabet stamp.  The flowers were made with Close to my Hearts scallop punch.  Thanks for looking!

Recipe Box Workshop

I have so many ideas for workshops that I want to do but I am running out of time before we move and really want to do this one! It is a recipe box, picture box or anything you would like to use it for box:)


The box is 6 3/8 X 4 3/4 X 3 3/4 inches. It fits 4 X 6 inch recipe cards and photos.

The cost is $12.00 and includes the box, paper, adhesive, stamps and embellishments. I have many different styles of paper and colors to chose from.

The workshop will be held on Wed. the 13th at 10:00 am. Your kiddo’s are welcome and I will try to have some little snacks for them. I only have 7 boxes on hand, so I will be limited to 7 people. I will hold a spot for the first 7 people who RSVP. Please RSVP only if you are sure that you can attend since I am limited on the number of boxes that I have. If you can not attend after reserving your spot, I will still need to charge you for the kit and you can complete it on your own.

MOPS craft

This year I have had the privilege of being our MOPS craft coordinator. I have loved serving this position. I am going to miss our group a lot next year. I may have to make a few trips down to visit from Craig:)


Anyways, this is a sample of the little terrarium that we are going to be making at our next meeting! I need to go hunting for different plants though...... Something a little smaller perhaps:)
