August's Scrap n' Chat Workshop

It’s Baccckkkk….. Our Scrap n’ Chat workshop is back in action!

When: Friday August 26^th, 6:30pm

Where: My mom’s house

What: Come and make a 2 page layout, and 2 fun little extra projects (using CTMH’s Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge).

Price: $5 or free if you place an order during the month of August.

I will also have the new Idea Book for those of you who don’t have one yet, plus many of the new items for you to drool overJ

This week has been so busy and crazy, but all for a good reason.  We officially “Bought the farm” on Friday.  We purchased 35 acres with a little house, huge shop and a big barn on it in Craig CO.  We are so excited to finally have land where we can raise chickens, cows, pigmy goats (Hubby is so happy about that one:), horses and let the boys run and run and run!!  No neighbors to irritate and they can be as loud as they want!

What a perfect pair! Close to my Heart and Cricut!

Beginning August 1, you can order the brand new "Art Philosophy" Cricut cartridge which is exclusive to Close To My Heart. Many of the images coordinate perfectly with dozens of our terrific stamp sets. There are over 700 images on this cartridge and it comes with 3 stamp sets and three 9" x 12" chipboard sheets with shapes that also coordinate. 

I have been playing with this cartridge and LOVE it!!  You can make so many things, it is just amazing!  So far I have made flowers, cards, tags, borders and a few other little things.  The possibilities are endless!

July's "Do it on your own" Workshop

Well we are getting ready for our 4th move of the summer!  I really want to keep my workshops going so I am going to do another "on your own" workshop this month.
The cost is $5 for a 2 page layout and 2 cards.  The paper is all pre cut and all of the embellishments are included.  The workshop is free if you place an order during the month of July.  I need to know by the end of the month if you want to order a kit.  There will be a shipping fee if you need it mailed to you, but I will include a free NEW IDEA BOOK!!

ABC- Anything But a Card Heart 2 Heart Challenge

I have been so busy with moving and the end of the school year craziness that I have barely had time to scrap or create!  But I did make this little dry erase board for my sons reading teacher( shhhh, if you work at the school and know her:)
These are super easy and fun to make!  Just take a picture frame with glass in it, take out the fake family picture and decorate to your hearts desire!  Put it all back together and you have a cute, inexpesive and fun gift:)
This one was made with Close to my Heart Fanfare paper, and the Pennant alphabet stamp.  The flowers were made with Close to my Hearts scallop punch.  Thanks for looking!
